Walters
UK Limited undertook four separate contracts for Caerphilly County
Borough Council and the former Islwyn Borough Council to transform
the site of the former colliery at Oakdale into a site ready for
new industrial development.
In addition to the reclamation works and ground reprofiling, the
works in this project included the construction of the new road
infrastructure and sewer networks. The works comprising the four
contracts were as follows: .
